The History of SandyBands
Once there was a girl and she loved to run. But whenever she ran
her hair got in her eyes and she could not see where she was going. And
so she decided to do something about it.
She got some cloth and she got some scissors and she threaded her
sewing machine and she set to work.
She cut long strips of all sorts of colored cloth. She had quite a lot
of cloth because she had done quite a lot of shopping. It was very hard
to stop shopping when there were so many beautiful patterns and colors
to choose from. And so this girl with the silly hair did not stop
shopping. She shopped and shopped and shopped. And when she was finally
done she had bought all the colors of the rainbow and even colors
beyond and over the rainbow. And all of these, yes every single
rainbow, and beyond and over the rainbow, color got snipped into long
strips
just the right size for silly hair.
Next the girl that loved to run whose name was Sandy sewed all of the
strips together one by one until she had a huge pile of rainbows. So
many rainbows that she could not think of what to do with them. There
were far too many rainbows for just one girl, even a girl who needed a
lot of rainbows for her silly flyaway hair.
And so she decided to share the rainbows. She decided to call them
SandyBands. She decided that all the girls in the world needed their
own silly hair rainbow. And there you have it. Rainbows and lollipops
and sunshine for everyone.

After the girl decided to sell her
bands to all the lucky girls in the
world, she took some pictures and made some pages but something was not
right. The pictures did not look like the rainbow colors or even any of
the beyond and over the rainbow colors. They looked less.
The lucky girls who will buy these rainbow bands need to see
them
and feel them and try them on, this girl named Sandy thought. They need
to look at the bands and pick their very own band from all the colors
of the rainbow and beyond and over the rainbow. But that is impossible,
she sighed.
And then she made a clever plan. Instead of a lucky girl
picking her
band, the band will pick the lucky girl, thought this girl that had cut
and sewed and stitched so very many bands with all the colors of the
rainbow and beyond and over.
They will be called Good Karma! SandyBands decided the girl with the
silly flyaway hair that loved to run. Each band will pick the lucky
girl and keep her hair happy and less flyaway every day, thought the
girl. And so that is the plan! |
